East Midlands Academic Health Science Network offer FREE Co-production training for patients, citizens and staff
10.00am to 4.00pm at East Midlands
10.00am to 4.00pm
Co-production is about working in equal partnership with people using services, and carers. It offers the chance to transform social care and health provision to a model that offers people real choice and control.
By attending this training you will:
- understand what co-production is and the policy and legislative context
- identify the principles and benefits of co-production
- share experiences of co-production or similar activity with the East Midlands health and social care services
- improve your knowledge and confidence about how to put co-production into practice
The training will use a co-production approach and participants should bring issues they want to work on to the session. We want to attract a mixed group of professionals, service users and carers to this event. People who are already involved with an organisation within health and social care and who will have the opportunity to work together and put the co-production skills they have learned into practice.
Your trainer is Pete Fleischmann, Head of Co-production at the Social Care Institute for Excellence. Pete has over 25 years’ experience of supporting organisations and individuals to co-produce health and social care services.
