Future First Expo - Newark

9.30am to 3.00pm at Nottinghamshire

9.30am to 3.00pm

Over the last 2 years, the Future First Expo has become the must attend event within Newark and Sherwood for students, employers, training and education providers alike.

Held in the Lady Eastwood Centre at the Newark Showground and organised by Newark & Sherwood District Council the Expo enables local businesses to meet and engage with their future work force.

Education and training providers: this event is for you with the opportunity to attract students to your campus or simply position yourself in front of students as they choose their prospective education provider. Marketed extensively across the East Midlands, the event attracts over 1000 students from secondary schools within the Newark and Sherwood district. The popularity of the Expo has gained requests from schools from Lincolnshire and Leicestershire who also wish to attend.

The format of the Expo features different zones with interactive exhibits and activities. Seminars run throughout the day covering a range of topical and relevant subjects. We expect another very busy event in 2019 with many of our current exhibitors already booked in.

The Expo is primarily open to students from years 11-13 but it is also open to members of the public to drop in throughout the day.  The event is free and there is no need to book.
