Dr Robyn Dewis, Acting Director of Public Health at Derby City Council, attended the Derby City Children & Young People’s Mental Health and Emotional Well Being Network in January to talk about the action Derby City Public Health are taking to tackle the issue of childhood obesity.
Derby City Children & Young People’s Mental Health and Emotional Well Being Network meets regularly and is a great way of sharing information, identifying gaps and/or duplication in services, and discussing issues affecting delivery and demonstrating impact and social value.
Meetings are supported by Community Action Derby. For more information, please contact Liz Gumbley via liz.gumbley@communityactionderby.org.uk.
