Money Sorted in D2N2: year 5 project evaluation published

Posted 12.07.2022

Money Sorted in D2N2 (Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire) helps unemployed and economically inactive people develop money
management skills in order to improve their financial wellbeing. The project is delivered through a team of Personal Navigators across the region who work on a one-to-one basis with participants.

Over the course of 2021 the Money Sorted project supported 586 new participants experiencing difficulties affecting their financial wellbeing. At a time when the coronavirus pandemic and cost of living crisis has had an adverse impact on the financial and mental wellbeing of communities across the D2N2 region the project has been able to offer a valuable source of support.

This year’s evaluation report provides insights into a range of wider systemic influences affecting the wellbeing of participants during the pandemic.  Ongoing analysis of the profile of participants accessing the project continues to reveal the extent of the financial difficulties that they face.
