The Big Convoy - can you help?

Helping Looked after Children and Care Leavers to connect –   and have some fun!

10 Coaches and over 500 people are due to embark on Alton Towers on Saturday 28 September 2019.

The day out is organised by Terry Galloway who is a champion for care leavers working with councils in the East Midlands.  It aims to connect looked after children and care leavers.  It’s also going to be a fun day out!

The Big Convoy requires help from volunteers and additional funding to make it happen.

Could you help?

There are several ways you can get involved:

  1. You can show support by retweeting and facebooking the event. #thebigconvoy
  2. Donating on the crowdfunding page
    • £5 pays for a Refill Drinks Quencher
    • £50 pays for the total cost for a child in care to go on the trip
    • £500 pays for a coach
  3. Sign up to be a volunteer on the day. Duties include checking participants on/off the coach, helping with drinks and you get free entry to Alton Towers  – 20 people required!
  4. You can print ‘The BIG Convoy’ logo, create a selfie and send it to Terry for social media.
