Aged 16 – 30? Thinking of a career in Healthcare?

Join the FREE Prince’s Trust Get into Health and Social Care programme at Chesterfield Royal Hospital from 24th February – 3rd April 2020.

This is a fantastic opportunity for unemployed young people aged 16-30 to get training from qualified professionals, gain the nationally recognised Care Certificate and get 5 weeks of hands on experience as a healthcare assistant on the wards. All travel expenses are paid for and the programme is completely free. There is also an opportunity to gain paid employment at the end of the programme.

Jobs in healthcare can be really difficult to secure without any relevant experience, so this is the perfect programme for people looking to start a career in the NHS or any other caring profession.

The Prince’s Trust, in partnership with Chesterfield Royal Hospital, are offering this free opportunity to gain invaluable work experience in the Health & Social Care sector.

Join this full time 6-week programme to access training and gain real life experience of working on the wards as part of a team of Healthcare Assistants. You will also get:

  • Travel expenses paid
  • Complete a nationally recognised Care Certificate
  • The chance to be interviewed for a paid role on completion and up to 6 months progression support following the programme
  • This is a free programme that doesn’t affect your benefits

The Prince’s Trust are looking for people who are motivated and work-ready. You will need to be able to work shifts between 7.00am – 7.00pm and be comfortable with providing personal care to patients.
