Money Sorted is the Financial Inclusion strand of the Building Better Opportunity suite of programmes.  Stakeholder Managers work thematically across D2N2 to make links between purposeful conversations relating to mental health (and money), housing (and money), employment and skills (and money).

Money matters affect us all at some point during our lifetime. They can become all-encompassing and change the way we live our lives at home and at work.

Support from Personal Navigators delivering Money Sorted help people to become financially resilient against financial shocks and pressures and ability to withstand these. Such shocks can include washing machine break downs or tyres in need of replacement. Money Sorted helps people to make the best financial choices they can to improve their financial well-being for the longer term.

Stakeholder Managers help to connect credit unions which are member owned, not for profit, financial cooperatives that provide savings accounts, affordable loans and other financial services, to their members.

This newly published UK Strategy for Financial Wellbeing explains national drivers and underpins our localised activity to improve this important aspect of our lives.

BBO is having a significant impact on individual lives, supporting people to increase their confidence, independence and achieve their employment aspirations.
